Join renowned artist, researcher and dog-lover, Veryl Goodnight for a look at historical dog art as well as her recent depictions of Livestock Guardian Dogs, a frontline in today’s wildlife conservation. Goodnight will also discuss the untold story of Sled Dogs in America and talk about the adventures of researching sled dog history. Following her presentation, Goodnight will sketch a Siberian Husky (provided by Cruz Schubert of Heartland Mushers) and explain canine anatomy using the visiting Husky.
