New Art 2.0 | Edgar Heap of Birds

New Art 2.0 is an exhibition of prints, many created by Eiteljorg Fellows and contemporary Native and non Native artists. It is a blend of “op art,” landscape, political and environmental statements as well as portraiture. Approximately 90 limited edition prints will be on exhibit and available for sale with prices ranging between about $500 - $4000.  New Art 2.0 closes Feb. 8, 2015.

Edgar Heap of Birds (Cheyenne, born 1954) received his bachelor of fine arts degree from The University of Kansas and his master of fine arts degree from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. Heap of Birds is best known for his public mixed-media installations. Over the last three decades, he has utilized nontraditional media such as billboards and traffic signage to deliver powerful political commentary.
