New Art 2.0 artist | Ric Gendron

New Art 2.0 is an exhibition of prints, many created by Eiteljorg Fellows and contemporary Native and Non Native artists. It is a blend of “op art,” landscape, political and environmental statements as well as portraiture. Approximately 90 limited edition prints will be on exhibit and available for sale with prices ranging between about $500 - $4000.  New Art 2.0 closes Feb. 8, 2015.

Ric Gendron lives in Spokane, WA, and has been a professional artist for over 25years. He is best known for his vibrant acrylic paintings. He paints every day, and his work is a mixture of traditional images and dances melded with American rock and pop culture. He has exhibited his work in galleries, museums, and group shows from Portland to New York and is actively involved in the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Show in Phoenix, AZ.

Gendron entered a print from his A Quiltsten Song series of monoprints in the 2010 Santa Fe Indian Market juried show and won a blue ribbon for best of printmaking and a blue ribbon for best of division, which included other two-dimensional work.
