  • Date(s):  October 19, 2013 – October 26, 2013
  • Time:  1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Live Demonstration Dates: October 19 & 26 between 1 - 4 p.m.

Born near Mexican Hat, Utah on the Navajo reservation, Norris’ heritage is rich in the Dineh culture. Born to the Edgewater Clan related to the Manygoats Clan, Norris was raised in a very traditional Dineh home. School was a very new experience for Norris; this is where he first learned to speak English.

From his first pencil drawing on a second grade school desk, Norris wanted art to be a part of his life.

Norris travels extensively across the United States entering art shows and winning awards, living his dreams of painting. Norris also works as an Artist in Residence for the state of Nebraska, visiting schools and communities, teaching students his artistic talents, methods and about the customs of his tribe.

The public is invited to meet Norris on October 19 and 26. You will learn about his art and culture, and watch as he demonstrates his art-making techniques.
