Indiana State Yo Yo Contest 2010

Spearheaded by Takeshi Kamisato (Ho Chunk) the Eiteljorg is proud to host the Indiana State Yo-Yo contest. This day will entail a gathering of 50+ yo-yo competitors showcasing their talents in one, or more, of the 4 different class divisions. Representatives and experts from the NYYL (National Yo-Yo League) will be on hand to answer questions and help you perfect your tricks.

Will Wilson creates a mural on Indy's Southside

Will Wilson (Diné ) partnered with the Eiteljorg Museum and the Christel House Academy to create a mural on an old building in a Near Southside neighborhood of Indianapolis. The mural honors Indiana's Native Peoples. It also shows a grandmother talking with her granddaughter about their culture and history, giving homage to the matriarchal culture of many Native tribes.
