Imagine the vast expanse of the Grand Canyon…made of tree bark.
Imagine a train speeding toward Glacier National Park over a 30-foot-wide trestle bridge…made of willow.
Imagine the great lodge of Yellowstone… made of twigs, leaves and pinecones.
Celebrate with your guests inside the Eiteljorg Museum’s new holiday experience Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure.
Watch seven trains wind past the local treasures of downtown Indianapolis, including the Eiteljorg Museum, Monument Circle and Union Station, through the national parks of the American West, passing legendary sites, including grand railway lodges, Northwest coast Native villages, and wonders both natural and human-made—Mount Rushmore, the Hoover Dam, the Hollywood hills, the Rocky Mountains and more.
This isn’t just any holiday train display. Every canyon and mesa, every lodge and geyser, Hoover Dam and even the replica of Indianapolis’ own Soldiers and Sailors Monument—are made with natural materials by Paul Busse and his company Applied Imagination. Busse, an inventive landscape architect and artist, has created a vision of model railroading that is unmatched. His holiday creations are rare, seen only in cities like New York, Chicago and Washington, D.C. For a taste of Busse’s work, check out this video of New York’s holiday display.
To get your guests in the holiday mood, we can even make it snow. That’s right snow…inside the museum! No guest could ever forget this experience. Our creative events team is ready and waiting to help you plan a one-of-a-kind holiday celebration.
