Take
advantage of the many tours and special programs available to
groups and individuals visiting the museum.

The Discovery Tour provides an orientation
and overview of the museum galleries and introduces guests
to the art, history and cultures of the West and Native America.
The Discovery Tour also steps into traveling and temporary
exhibitions.

This
tour is designed to dispel stereotypes and provide insights
into both historic and present-day Native American cultures.
Guides share hands-on materials with visitors and discuss Native
American art and artifacts. This tour includes a stop in special
Native American exhibitions.

Schedule a tour of the traveling and special
exhibitions presented at the Eiteljorg.

Public tours are offered on weekends at 1 p.m. for no additional charge. They last for about an hour. Meet the Eiteljorg guide in the main lobby.

Experience
the West and Native American cultures through hands-on learning.
Special carts are filled with items related to art, toys, games,
the mountain men, Western living, the Southwest, California,
cowboys, Woodland and Plains quillwork and more. Hands-on on
carts are available periodically throughout the week. This experience
enables visitors to enjoy the museum's Western art and Native
American collection through a number of senses.
