Indianapolis Museum seeks creative partner in rebranding
The Eiteljorg Museum is requesting for agencies to provide qualifications
 
INDIANAPOLIS—The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art is seeking to rebrand itself as an active, sensory and engaging experience for multiple audiences. The museum is currently involved in a multi-year campaign to enliven our “product” (galleries, exhibits, etc.), increase communications and marketing activity, and polish our image via a fresh marketing creative direction. The Eiteljorg Museum is currently looking for agencies to submit their qualifications to assist the museum in this endeavor.
 
A qualified partner will assist in this branding effort by:
 
  1. Developing a new creative direction and guidelines, aligned with our brand, that the Eiteljorg Museum can execute using its existing resources.
 
  1. Working with museum to complete a “check up” of creative direction in late 2011/early 2012, to refine creative/branding direction.
 
The agency’s qualifications should include background about the agency, experience in working with museums or attraction environments, examples of successes on limited budgets and a list of references.

Background
 
Following extensive quantitative and qualitative research, the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art is seeking to rebrand itself as an active, sensory and engaging experience for its target audiences. We are involved in a multi-year campaign to enliven our “product” (galleries, exhibits, etc.), increase communications and marketing activity, and polish our image via a fresh marketing creative direction.
 
The Eiteljorg seeks a qualified partner to assist us in this branding effort by:

  1. Developing a new creative direction and guidelines, aligned with our brand, that the Eiteljorg Museum can execute using its existing resources. (We will produce creative using our designer.) New branded marketing will launch in February 2011.
  2. Working with museum to complete a “check up” of creative direction in late 2011/early 2012, to refine creative/branding direction.
 
We are working toward a detailed creative plan that addresses everything from determining what the institution should call itself when communicating with the public to developing a cohesive creative theme that is adaptable across three disparate audiences and multiple media platforms.
 
The Eiteljorg Museum cordially invites you to submit your firm’s qualifications for this project. Submissions should include:
 
  1. General background information about your company and your approach
  2. Examples of similar projects in museum and attraction environments. We are particularly interested in occasions where you have delivered great value to clients with limited budgets.
  3. List of references from the field
