A stop in the resource center can be a nice break in the middle of your trip to the museum.
Look for books or materials that relate to what you have seen in the galleries or to a special interest of your child. |

Families, especially those with younger children, should definitely include a stop in the Library and Resource Center during any visit to the Eiteljorg. You are invited to settle in for awhile to read children’s books, watch a video or DVD, or browse the periodicals. You can also check out a set of seasonal garden cards for a tour of the Eiteljorg gardens.

Also be sure to look for one of several hands-on discovery boxes on topics like weaving, beads, buffalo, Kaya (American Girl) or ethnobotany (how Native American people used plants). These boxes contain books and background information as well as hands-on objects and activities, so be sure to allow time for some fun exploration. Try a different one each time you visit!
