Tom Hoback, CEO of Indiana Rail Road Company, joins Eiteljorg Museum Board of Directors

INDIANAPOLIS—The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art’s Board of Directors has elected Tom Hoback, president and CEO of Indiana Rail Road Company, as its newest member. Additionally, the museum’s board elected new members to the Board of Advisors and the National Board of Advisors whose terms will begin on July 1.

“Tom’s passion for the history of railroading and art in the West, his commitment to the Eiteljorg and his entrepreneurial spirit will be great assets to the Eiteljorg Museum,” said John Vanausdall, Eiteljorg president and CEO. “We are excited and honored to have him as part of the leadership of our organization.”

Hoback founded Indiana Rail Road Company more than 25 years ago and it has grown to be one of the most successful regional railroads in the country, hauling products for companies like, GE, Hershey, Tide and Ice Mountain. The company is committed to the community through its support of many events like Jingle Rails: The Great Western Adventure and its organizing of the annual Santa Train.

“We are equally honored to welcome the new members of the Board of Advisors and National Board of Advisors,” Vanausdall said. “Their counsel is invaluable in helping the institution seek new ways to expand the reach and interpretation of our mission.”

The Eiteljorg museum would like to welcome:

Answer:By:The Lady Amalthea You are there to learn and learning inlvevos asking questions. How else can your professor expect you to learn. You need to approach your professor and tell him or her that you need help especially if you are just starting out. Some people have better research backgrounds than others and maybe your professor doesn't realize you need help. If he or she cannot find time to discuss things with you or take time to show you around the lab, you need to go to a department head and tell them exactly what is going on. Also, do not let your professor take advantage of you. If you can't work it out, switch professors. I had a problem with my advisor. She was great until I signed on to be her student then she totally changed. She was a new professor and her first two students ended up leaving her. Keep in mind that you need to be happy. If you are not enjoying what you are doing because you are not learning, definitely make it known. There is no sense in making yourself depressed.
