VP of Advancement
As a member of the Executive Team, the Vice-President for Advancement will provide innovative leadership and strategic vision to all aspects of the Museum’s development, marketing and communication efforts, and work collaboratively with team members to establish and execute a plan for significant institutional growth. In collaboration with the CEO, staff and Board, they will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a comprehensive, strategic advancement program in all areas of fund-raising, donor cultivation, communications and outreach. The VP for Advancement will maintain a portfolio of major donors and will be responsible for securing major gifts aimed at meeting the strategic goals of the Museum to meet its mission.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Ten plus years of direct experience in leading the development function for not-for-profit organizations.
- Experience in leading major gifts, capital campaign, corporate giving relationships, both federal and foundation grants and planned giving efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to develop deep and long-term relationships with major individual donors resulting in significant annual gifts, multi-year capital pledges and estate gifts; demonstrated ability to secure 7-figure and above gifts.
- Proven and exceptional skills in engaging donors in the life of not-for-profit organizations; maintaining a personal and empathetic approach while realistically managing donor expectations; ability to facilitate relationships between donors and other team members including the CEO, and board members.
- Experience in successfully organizing and motivating board members, volunteers, committees and staff members to cultivate and secure contributions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, management of time and multiple priorities, ability to comprehend, analyze and report on financial data, ability to organize and manage donor stewardship plans, marketing and communications and balance attention between details and broad strategy.
- Proven track record of establishing aggressive but achievable goals, creating a plan and strategies and successfully executing them to achieve goals.
- Proven history of successful team work, cooperation with co-workers, informal leadership across organizational divisions and building a culture of philanthropy and marketing. Contribute to a positive working environment and cooperate with co-workers.
Physical Requirements:

Festivals Manager
The Festivals Manager is an engaged, full-time team member responsible for spearheading the development and execution of Indian Market & Festival, Jingle Rails, and other public markets and events. This role involves close collaboration with various departments including public programs, facilities, advancement (marketing and development), and curatorial teams. Acting as a project manager, the Festivals Manager oversees project facilitation, budget management, contracting, and vendor relations. This position operates within a dynamic environment, necessitating flexibility in scheduling, including evening and weekend availability. Reporting to the VP for Public Programs and Beeler Family Director of Education, the Festivals Manager plays a pivotal role within the public programs division.

Part-Time Guest Services Associate
Guest Services Gallery Assistants at the Eiteljorg Museum play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our visitors. In addition to answering phones and managing the admissions desk. Their responsibilities include ensuring the galleries are attended at all times and delivering top-notch customer service to enhance visitors’ experiences. The core hours for this position range from 9 to 25 hours per week, spread over two to five days on a flexible schedule. Weekend hours, as well as some evenings during special events, will be required. Pay: $15 an hour.
